Nicky Deuce
Nickelodeon has snapped up the rights to one of the hottest book titles on the market and are set to begin production on the movie adaptation very shortly. The hilarious family send up Nicky Deuce based on the mega popular book Nicky Deuce: Welcome to the Family starring Nick favorite Noah Munck has begun production and the excitement surrounding this project couldn’t be higher.
Everything is in place for polite, sheltered and slightly nerdy Nicholas Borelli’s summer vacation. Like every summer for the past four years Nicholas’ parents will go on vacation and he will be sent away to his favorite math camp. When the camp is unexpectedly closed for the summer the Borelli’s need to find somewhere for Nicholas to go. With no other option Mr. Borelli decides to send his son back to his hometown of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn in New York to live with his family for the summer, a place that Nicholas has never been and Mr. Borelli has not been since he left years ago to begin his law career. I this classic fish out of water story Nicholas, or Nicky Deuce as his uncle calls him will see things he’s never seen, meet family he’s never known and make friends for a lifetime. Nicky’s adventures are sure to be many and absolutely hilarious. In addition to Munch (Gibby from the Nick hit iCarly), Nicky Deuce will feature an amazing cast of supporting players including Cristine Prosperi (Degrassi: The Next Generation, Really Me) and Soprano’s stars Steve Schirripa (who is the co author of the book the film is based on), Michael Imperioli (Goodfellas, Detroit 1-8-7), Tony Sirico (The Search for One-eye Jimmy, Everyone Says I Love You) and Vincent Curatola (Fun with Dick and Jane, Life On Mars). The cast could not be more perfect to play an authentic Italian family with a healthy dose of hilarity thrown in to boot in this all new Nickelodeon film Nicky Deuce.
