One Direction, the British Boy band sensation is poised to conquer the U.S. and they’re next stop could be their very own sitcom on Nickelodeon! The project starring the teen heartthrobs is currently in development.

One Direction is ready to blow up in America and become the world’s next great boy band. Fans are already lining up to enjoy everything that they do and Nickelodeon is ready to showcase their natural charms and talent for an all new 1D sitcom. Following their discovery on the British edition of The X-Factor One Direction scored their first number one hit single with “What Makes You Beautiful” and now their popularity just cannot be contained!

The amazing news came today as @Nickelodeon tweeted what fans around the world have been swooning for:

“The rumors are true, our live-action slate does include a development project for @onedirection. Welcome to the family!”

If you love the 1D boys and have always dreamt of what it would be like to watch Louis, Harry, Liam, Niall, and Zayn in their first TV series this could be your big chance. There’s only one cure for 1D-mania, and that’s to be a part of the music and laughter of Nickelodeon’s all new One Direction show.

The breakout star of the The X-Factor season one is set to star in an all new sitcom for Nickelodeon and production will start soon. This could be your chance to watch one of the biggest up and coming entertainers in the world show her stuff in front of millions of devoted viewers every week.

Rachel Crow is a singer, songwriter, comedienne and all around superstar who stole America’s heart with her fabulous performances, touching life story and controversial elimination on season 1 of The X-Factor. Based on her outstanding Fred role Nick has decided to set Rachel up with her very own show to showcase her amazing abilities. Rachel Crow is set to be the next great Nickelodeon  sitcom star following in the footsteps of Victoria Justice (Victorious), Cymphonique Miller (How To Rock) and Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly) and your opportunity to star right alongside her could soon be coming. Nickelodeon is preparing their latest amazing movie musical and the buzz could not be any bigger. Rags will be a modern day take on the classic tale of Cinderella filled with fantastic original songs and music.  Production on this fabulous production is starting soon and so is your chance to sing along with some of your favorite Nickelodeon stars.

Rags will tell the story of two star crossed teens who are looking to truly be heard. Charlie Prince is an orphan who lives with his cold stepfather and three spoiled stepbrothers. Charlie is miserable in his home life and the only thing that gets him through his days is his love of music. While Charlie is a very talented singer and songwriter he can never seem to catch a break. On the other side of town Kadee Worth is the daughter of a hugely successful music producer who has turned her into a pop star loved by millions of fans worldwide. But Kadee’s is an empty life, she sings other people’s songs, wears other people clothes and she too has a dream for the world to hear her true voice. When Charlie and Kadee find each other they are finally free to be the people and artists that they have always wanted to be. This is an amazing take on a beloved tale and is soon to be the latest Nickelodeon musical sensation. The fantastic cast is highlighted by Drake Bell (Drake & Josh, iCarly), Keke Palmer (True Jackson, VP, Madea Goes To Jail) and Max Schneider (How To Rock).
