Child Auditions for Steven Spielberg Movie

Three time Academy Award winning and perhaps the most well known director of our time, Steven Spielberg is looking to fill the lead role in his upcoming film , “The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara. This is a rare opportunity to submit for a lead role in a Hollywood blockbuster movie! We all know Mr. Spielberg’s movies tend to get nominated for the top film awards.

The movie will tell the the true story of Edgardo Mortara – a 6 year old Jewish boy from Bologna who was reported to have been secretly baptized by a maid, and was deemed by the Catholic church therefore to be Christian. Pope Pius IX (to be played by Mark Rylance) decreed that the boy could not remain with his Jewish family. He was seized by the Papal State and taken to the Vatican where his indoctrination into Catholicism began. This was a cause célèbre of mid-nineteenth century European politics and the domestic and international outrage against the pontifical state’s actions may have contributed to its downfall amid the unification of Italy. This is an incredible story of real historical relevance.

Casting directors are looking to fill a boy ages six to nine years old to portray a six year old. They are seeking a boy who appears to be a Jewish Italian child. They are seeking kids nationwide except for in the areas of New York and Los Angeles (different casting directors are handling those roles). This is a SAG paid movie.

“Transformers: The Last Knight” Auditions

Do you want to be in the new Transformers movie? Casting directors have just released a casting call for the new film! Michael Bay is back to direct the newest installment in the Transformers franchise. The movie which will star Mark Wahlberg is called “Transformers: The Last Knight”. The movie will be heading back to Detroit, Michigan to film for about eight weeks and casting directors are now accepting submissions for the movie.

Details surrounding the newest Transformers movie have not been released but it has been confirmed that Allen Phoenix, Anthony Hopkins, Isabela Moner, Jerrod Carmichael, Josh Duhamel and Peter Cullen will also star in the movie. Maryellen Aviano is casting men and women who are ages eighteen and up and local to the Detroit area.

Disney Movie Lead Role Auditions

The opportunity of a lifetime is here! Disney is now casting lead roles for their new movie “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms”! Disney is making the famous ballet into a live action film. Disney is now casting for the lead role of Clara. The take on the classic talent will be based on the story ‘The Nutcracker and the Mouse King’ written by E.T.A. Hoffman. The classic story told of a young girl named Clara who receives a nutcracker doll from her godfather on Christmas Eve. When she goes to check on it later that night, the clock strikes midnight, and she finds herself thrust into a fantastical world where she is in the middle of a war between gingerbread soldiers and an army of mice, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Casting directors for Disney are looking for a female actress between the ages of 13 and 17 years old. Actresses can be any ethnicity and height.

Clara (Female) – aged 13-17 years

Lead role

Clever, creative and independent, Clara goes against female societal conventions of the period. At the beginning of the story she is lacking in confidence, struggling to cope with the death of her mother and trying to find her footing in the adult world. Uninterested in beauty and fashion, Clara is most herself when inventing contraptions and going on adventures; she is most comfortable in her own imagination. As she grows through the film we find her to be self sufficient, strong willed, curious, witty, inventive and ultimately confident in herself. She can be any height or ethnicity.

High School Musical 4 Auditions

The wait is over! Disney’s High School Musical 4 will begin filming soon and casting directors are holding auditions for teens to be in the upcoming movie! In the last film, High School Musical 3, graduation day was almost here for the high school seniors. Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Chad, Ryan and Taylor’s pending graduation and the thought of heading off in separate directions after leaving East High has these Wildcats thinking they need to do something they’ll remember forever. Together with the rest of the Wildcats, they stage a spring musical reflecting their hopes and fears about the future and their unforgettable experiences growing up together. High School Musical 4 will center on a new group of students at East High, as well as their crosstown rivals, the West High Knights. Auditions are now being held for teens to play high school students at one of the schools!

Casting directors are looking for Teens Ages 14-17 who are interested and acting, singing, OR dancing.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, May 15th in Anaheim California.

Nickelodeon has snapped up the rights to one of the hottest book titles on the market and are set to begin production on the movie adaptation very shortly. The hilarious family send up Nicky Deuce based on the mega popular book Nicky Deuce: Welcome to the Family starring Nick favorite Noah Munck has begun production and the excitement surrounding this project couldn’t be higher.

Everything is in place for polite, sheltered and slightly nerdy Nicholas Borelli’s summer vacation. Like every summer for the past four years Nicholas’ parents will go on vacation and he will be sent away to his favorite math camp. When the camp is unexpectedly closed for the summer the Borelli’s need to find somewhere for Nicholas to go. With no other option Mr. Borelli decides to send his son back to his hometown of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn in New York to live with his family for the summer, a place that Nicholas has never been and Mr. Borelli has not been since he left years ago to begin his law career. I this classic fish out of water story Nicholas, or Nicky Deuce as his uncle calls him will see things he’s never seen, meet family he’s never known and make friends for a lifetime. Nicky’s adventures are sure to be many and absolutely hilarious. In addition to Munch (Gibby from the Nick hit iCarly), Nicky Deuce will feature an amazing cast of supporting players including Cristine Prosperi (Degrassi: The Next Generation, Really Me) and Soprano’s stars Steve Schirripa (who is the co author of the book the film is based on),  Michael Imperioli (Goodfellas, Detroit 1-8-7), Tony Sirico (The Search for One-eye Jimmy, Everyone Says I Love You) and Vincent Curatola (Fun with Dick and Jane, Life On Mars). Get ready Fred Figglehorn fans! Following the huge success of the first two hilarious Nick Original movies Nickelodeon has ordered a third film in the fabulous Fred series, Fred 3: Camp Fred .

Fred 3: Camp Fred will find star Lucas Cruikshank once again playing the amazingly funny Fred Figglehorn as he and his band of colorful friends go off to summer camp for another round of wacky adventures. Fans have already seen Fred go to crazy lengths to win the heart of his crush Judy in Fred:The Movie and deal with vampires in the fantastic sequel Fred 2: Night Of The Living Fred and this third film is sure to be even more entertaining. Nickelodeon is preparing their latest amazing movie musical and the buzz could not be any bigger. Rags will be a modern day take on the classic tale of Cinderella filled with fantastic original songs and music.  Production on this fabulous production is starting soon and so is your chance to sing along with some of your favorite Nickelodeon stars.

Rags will tell the story of two star crossed teens who are looking to truly be heard. Charlie Prince is an orphan who lives with his cold stepfather and three spoiled stepbrothers. Charlie is miserable in his home life and the only thing that gets him through his days is his love of music. While Charlie is a very talented singer and songwriter he can never seem to catch a break. On the other side of town Kadee Worth is the daughter of a hugely successful music producer who has turned her into a pop star loved by millions of fans worldwide. But Kadee’s is an empty life, she sings other people’s songs, wears other people clothes and she too has a dream for the world to hear her true voice. When Charlie and Kadee find each other they are finally free to be the people and artists that they have always wanted to be.
