Disney Character Auditions

Have you ever wanted to play Disney’s Aladdin, Cinderella, Aurora or Repunzel? If so, here is your chance to work at the most wonderful place on earth! Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking male and female performers to portray Disney Character Look-alikes at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida. Walt Disney World is holding auditions for the character look a likes at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Rehearsal Facility.

All performers, including Disney Character Look-alikes, will also perform in meet-and-greets as fully costumed Disney Characters in our Parks and Resorts. This includes wearing large body costumes, heads, and feet, and exposure to hot and humid weather.

Seeking the following roles:

Aladdin: Male, 5’10 – 6′, slender or athletic build with a confident and outgoing personality.

Cinderella, Aurora, Rapunzel: Female, 5’3 – 5’7″, slender to athletic builds with outgoing personalities.

Auditions will be held on Thursday, July 28th at 4:00pm. Sign-in will be from 3:30 to 4:00pm. They will not accept any late applicants so give yourself some extra time to arrive.

Sign-in: 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM – Late applicants will not be accepted so be sure you arrive on time.

Performers must be at least 16 and authorized to work in the United States. Auditions are open to the general public, however, current WDW College and International Program Cast Members and Current WDW Character Performers are not eligible to audition. If you are local to the Orlando area and would like to audition for Disney’s Characters, then you may just attend the open casting call.

Child Auditions for Steven Spielberg Movie

Three time Academy Award winning and perhaps the most well known director of our time, Steven Spielberg is looking to fill the lead role in his upcoming film , “The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara. This is a rare opportunity to submit for a lead role in a Hollywood blockbuster movie! We all know Mr. Spielberg’s movies tend to get nominated for the top film awards.

The movie will tell the the true story of Edgardo Mortara – a 6 year old Jewish boy from Bologna who was reported to have been secretly baptized by a maid, and was deemed by the Catholic church therefore to be Christian. Pope Pius IX (to be played by Mark Rylance) decreed that the boy could not remain with his Jewish family. He was seized by the Papal State and taken to the Vatican where his indoctrination into Catholicism began. This was a cause célèbre of mid-nineteenth century European politics and the domestic and international outrage against the pontifical state’s actions may have contributed to its downfall amid the unification of Italy. This is an incredible story of real historical relevance.

Casting directors are looking to fill a boy ages six to nine years old to portray a six year old. They are seeking a boy who appears to be a Jewish Italian child. They are seeking kids nationwide except for in the areas of New York and Los Angeles (different casting directors are handling those roles). This is a SAG paid movie.

EDGARDO — BOY age 6-9 to play 6 years old. This is a unique and very challenging part for a truly special boy. The story deals with the complexity of an extremely intelligent and gifted child’s situation – his desire to return to his family and the faith of his ancestors, pitted against his ability to learn the Catechism and engage with the Pope on a level far beyond his years. HE SHOULD APPEAR TO BE A JEWISH ITALIAN child. We are not looking for any kind of Italian accent. LEAD.

Disney Commercial Auditions

Want to be in an upcoming commercial for Disney? If so, here is your chance! Disney Springs Resort is now casting real families to be in their new commercial. The best part is they are open to families from across the United States! While the commercial will be shooting in Orlando, Florida, they are casting for families nationwide. Anyone selected from outside of Orlando will have their flight and hotel covered! Miami Talent Casting is now seeking the following to be in the new Disney commercial.

CASTING FAMILIES FOR DISNEY COMMERCIAL, REAL FAMILIES ONLY, NO MATCH UPS

REAL African American Family – (2-4) Kids ages 6-18 years, Parents 35-40 years, Grandparents a plus!

REAL Caucasian Family – (2-4) Kids ages 6-18 years, Parents 35-40 years, Grandparents a plus!

REAL Hispanic Family – (2-4) Kids ages 6-18 years, Parents 35-40 years, Grandparents are a MUST!!!

REAL Asian/East Indian Family – (2) Kids ages 10-13 years, Parents 40-45 years

REAL LGBTQ Family – (1-2) Kids ages 5-9 years, Same-Sex Parents 35-40

REAL Group of Female Friends – (3-5) Friends, all ethnicities, ages 25-35 years

Auditions for the Disney commercial will be taking place by Skype between June 10th and June 14th. The commercial will be filming in Orlando July 11th, 2016 through July 15th, 2016. The entire family that submits must be available on all of those selected dates.

Pay rate is $500.00 per person per day (will be a 3 day shoot)

Aside from having their travel paid for, selected talent will be paid $500.00 per person per day. The commercial is set to shoot for three days so that will be a total of $1500.00 per person for the commercial!
